1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("T&C") govern your use of Atlas IT ("we," "us," or "our"), including all computer sales, repairs, and related services. By engaging with our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you disagree, you must cease use immediately.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes will be handled in Australian courts.

2. Eligibility & Acceptance

By using our services, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18).

  • Provide accurate and complete information for service requests.

  • Comply with all applicable Australian laws and regulations.

3. Service Terms (Repairs & Sales)

  • Diagnostics & Repairs:

    • We provide an initial diagnostic assessment. Fees may apply if further repairs are needed.

    • Data loss risk: While we take precautions, we are not liable for data loss during repairs. Back up your data beforehand.

  • Hardware/Software Sales:

    • All products are subject to availability.

    • Warranties are provided as per Australian Consumer Law (ACL)—manufacturer warranties apply unless stated otherwise.

  • Payment & Pricing:

    • Prices are in AUD and include GST (where applicable).

    • Payment methods: Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Cash (specify if different).

    • No refunds on software licenses or services once rendered (unless required by ACL).

4. Limitation of Liability

  • For Repairs:

    • We are not liable for pre-existing damage or unrelated malfunctions discovered during service.

    • If a repair fails due to a defect, we will reassess at no extra charge (ACL applies).

  • For Products:

    • Refunds/replacements only apply for faulty goods under ACL.

    • We are not responsible for misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorized modifications.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All software, firmware, and tools used in repairs remain the property of their respective owners.

  • Unauthorized copying or distribution of software/licenses is prohibited.

6. Privacy Policy

  • Personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy, complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (including APPs).

  • We may collect contact details, device information, and payment records for service purposes.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

  • You violate these terms.

  • Your device poses a security risk (e.g., malware, illegal content).

8. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes will first be resolved via good-faith negotiation.

  • If unresolved, proceedings may be filed in Australian courts.
